Terms of Service

print-agent.eu

1. General provisions

These terms govern the use of print-agent.eu (the 'Website'). The service provider is UAB 'Vitae Litera' (the 'Provider'), registered in the Republic of Lithuania. By using the Website and placing an order, the Client confirms that they have read and agree to these terms.

2. Services

The Website provides print and publishing services: production of books, brochures, catalogues and other printed matter based on files and specifications supplied by the Client. All products are made to the Client's individual order (custom-made).

3. Placing and confirming orders

The Client places an order via the Website calculator. The contract is concluded once the Client pays the price quote generated by the Provider or receives a written order confirmation. The Client is responsible for the accuracy of the data and print files supplied.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in EUR including VAT. The applicable VAT rate depends on the destination country: Lithuania 5% (books), Estonia 9% (books), Latvia 5% (books). For B2B customers with a valid EU VAT number, reverse charge applies (0% VAT) under Directive 2006/112/EC. Payment is processed via Montonio bank redirects or card after the order is placed.

5. Production and delivery

Production time starts once payment and suitable print files are received. Typical delivery times: Lithuania 2–3 business days, Estonia 2–3 business days, Latvia 2–3 business days, rest of EU 4–7 business days. Delivery is performed by a partner carrier (Omniva, DPD). The risk passes to the Client when the shipment is handed over to the carrier.

6. Right of withdrawal

Pursuant to EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Art. 16) and the Lithuanian Civil Code, the consumer does not have the right to withdraw from a contract for goods made to the Client's specifications (custom-made). If the product is defective, the Client may claim remedies under applicable consumer protection law.

7. Limitation of liability

The Provider is liable only for faults caused by its own actions. The Provider is not liable for defects in files supplied by the Client (spelling errors, low resolution, incorrect dimensions or colours). The Provider's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific order.

8. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. Disputes are resolved through negotiation; if no agreement is reached, by the competent Lithuanian court. Consumers may also use the EU ODR platform https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/ or contact the Lithuanian State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (www.vvtat.lt).
